1910 - Angelo Capraro (Jimmy Capra) was born on this day. Jazz guitarist and bandleader from New Orleans, Louisiana. In his youth, he played in his brother Joe's band at the Cotton Club in New Orleans. He toured under the name of Jimmy Capra, played during the 1930's with Louis Prima, Leon Prima and Sharkey Bonano. Angelo died in Las Vegas, Nevada in December, 1963.
