1957 - David Doucet was born on this day. A guitarist and vocalist and a native of Lafayette, Louisiana. He plays and sings for the internationally acclaimed cajun band Beausoleil. He is the younger brother of the groups founder Michael Doucet. The group has released over 20 albums in 25 years and won a Grammy in 1997.
