1953 - Pat Ramsey was born on this day. A harmonica player and a native of Shreveport, Louisiana. He started playing at the age of 17, and is most well-known for his playing on the Johnny Winter Classic album Red, Hot & Blue. Pat hooked up with Derek Trucks during a break from the Allman Brothers, then played with in Florida with Crosscut Saw and the Pat Ramsey Band. Sadly, Pat passed away in November of 2008 at the age of 55.
