1974 - Billie Pierce, boogie-woogie pianist and blues shouter from Marianna, Florida passed away on this day at the age of 66. She was born in 1907, and was the sister of Sadie Goodson, and married to trumpeter Dee Dee Pierce. Billie died in New Orleans.
