1942 - Clive Wilson was born on this day. Traditional jazz trumpeter from London England. He came to New Orleans in 1965, and already had a surprising grasp of the traditional New Orleans sound. He studied with Johnny Wiggs, and performed regularly with the 'Albert French Tuxedo Orchestra'. He formed his owned band in the 1970's called the 'New Camelia Jazz Band'.
