1918 - Manuel (Manny) Crusto was born on this day. Traditional jazz clarinetist, saxophonist and trumpeter from New Orleans, Louisiana. He played with Fats Pichon and often made appearances at Heritage Hall and Preservation Hall. Manny passed away in March 2002 at the age of 83.
