1931 - Nolan Washington was born on this day. A vocalist and a native of New Orleans, Louisiana. He was a manager with his brother Sherman, for many years, of one of the best known Gospel groups in New Orleans, the Zion Harmonizers. Nolan passed away in 1997 at the age of 65.
