| 1930 - Jack Delaney was born on this day. Traditional jazz trombonist from New Orleans, Louisiana. In the 1950's he performed with bands led by Tony Almerico and Sharkey Bonano. He also played the famous Roosevelt Hotel with Leon Kellner's Orchestra. Finally, during the 1960's, he was associated with Pete Fountain. Jack died in New Orleans in 1975 at the age of 45. |
