1974 - Billy Braun, traditional jazz pianist from New Orleans, Louisiana died on this day. Billy was born in 1892 and was mainly associated with the bands of Norman Brownlee, Johnny Fischer and Johnny Bayersdorffer. He died in New Orleans.
