New Orleans Radio started in 1997 for the purpose of listening to my music without carrying it around. We became one of a few independent Internet Radio stations broadcasting at that time. We have always been dedicated to providing quality music in multiple genres and formats. It mostly included local independent New Orleans broadcasters and musicians. After 19 years of broadcasting, I decided to put it up one more time. We are pioneers of internet radio and the originators of bringing high quality New Orleans based music ti the internet.
Founded on the principles of promoting Internet Radio and promoting exposure for Independent Artists, the New Orleans Radio has always been committed to fostering and encouraging growth for the station operators, artists and businesses that support us.
We are natives of New Orleans, Louisiana. We have a lifelong relationship with the city, the State of Louisiana and its music and culture. In addition to being born into this musical paradise and having the privilege to run this website and all that it brings, we’ve been music industry educators in higher learning institutions. So the traditions, culture and musical nuances are being passed down to not only locals, but spreading across the US and the World.
